Description
A round water churn, also known as a French churn or a butter bell, allows you to store butter outside the refrigerator.
The churn has two elements: you pour water into the bottom of the churn, and you place the butter inside the lid.
This design prevents air from getting inside, keeping the butter fresh and spreadable longer.
The water in the churn prevents the butter from melting too quickly and maintains its proper consistency.
Butter stored in French churns can be kept outside the refrigerator for approximately 1-2 weeks.
Made of ceramic clay, hand-formed and decorated at Ceramica Artystyczna S.R.A. in Bolesławiec.
Shape reference: 270
Decoration no. 2414X is part of the classic Bolesławiec Ceramics group.
Vessels in this design are decorated by hand, using stamps and a brush. Glazing makes the ceramic more stain-resistant, has low water absorption, and is easier to clean.
It is dishwasher and microwave safe. An additional advantage is that the product contains no harmful substances.
